24 May 2021 – Mobilicom Limited (Mobilicom or the Company) is pleased to announce it has achieved
several new business wins and purchase orders with leading businesses in the drones and robotics
Chosen by ST Engineering (STE) for a newly designed robotics solution for the Asia-Pacific market, which will utilize Mobilicom’s secured datalink units and its controller solution.
STE is a Singapore-based engineering conglomerate with more than S$7b in revenue, and is one of the largest companies listed on the Singapore Exchange. It has invested heavily in and developed a variety of robotics, drones and unmanned platforms spanning the commercial and defense markets.
STE has taken delivery of its initial order of MCU30 and controller units that will enable it to build its robotics solution for its customers.
Chosen by Vehicle systems specialist Plasan for Mobilicom’s secured datalink units and controller solutions to be used in its Stinger autonomous vehicle.
Israel-based Plasan designs, develops, manufactures and integrates total protection vehicle systems for the defense and commercial markets, having implemented 33,000 solutions in more than 20 countries over a 30-year history.
Mobilicom’s solutions allow the teleoperation of Plasan’s stinger vehicle and the ability to remotely control its weapon stations. The first Stinger vehicles with this solution have been delivered to a potential customer and partner in the UAE.
Mobilicom has received an initial purchase order of A$150,000 from leading unmanned platforms provider Rafael. The units will be delivered during 2021 and further purchase orders are expected in due course.Rafael, with revenues of ~US$3b, is a worldwide pioneer in defense, cyber and security solutions. As well as a leading player in teleoperated and unmanned platforms in sea, ground and air.
