7 June 2021 – Mobilicom Limited (Mobilicom or the Company, ASX: MOB) is pleased to announce it has successfully completed delivery of more than $1.8 million of products for the $2.3 million contract with a leading global drone supplier, following shipment of over 200 additional units of its Ground Controller System.
Mobilicom’s latest delivery of its products, valued at $470,000, is the third instalment under its existing contract with the supplier, which grew from ~$2M to more than $2.3M as announced on 4 February 2021.
The initial contract was announced in 2018.
The customer has revenues of more than $3.6bn and is an international high technology company engaged in a range of defense, homeland security and commercial programs throughout the world. It is one of the largest suppliers of drones, small unmanned aerial vehicles (sUAV) and robotics outside of the US.
Mobilicom’s Ground Controller Systems (GCS) are being integrated into the customer’s drones and sUAV platforms worldwide.
Mobilicom CEO Oren Elkayam said the Company completed the latest delivery from its manufacturing capacity in the Asia-Pacific, which it expanded to commercial scale to meet high volume production demands.
“Mobilicom has proven it is able to scale production, and execute fulfillment on this large contract despite the impacts of COVID-19 and supply chain issues worldwide, while maintaining gross margin targets,” he said.
“The successful execution and delivery will contribute to Mobilicom’s significant revenue growth planned for 2021.”
Mobilicom expects to deliver further GCS units under the existing contract during 2021, with further orders from the customer anticipated in due course.
